Planetary Energy Forecast December 2025

Hello my friends and welcome to the final month of 2025.

Be sure to take some time to contemplate your epic growth and all of the change that you have integrated this year. Because we start 2026 hard and fast out of the gate. Next year heralds more massive change.

This month we experience Chiron in Aries square Jupiter in Cancer ALLLL month, with a much stronger clash the last part of the month. This is a clash between our independence and our tribe. What keeps us safe and yet also keeps us small.

We still have Neptune in Pisces sextile Uranus in Taurus bringing both inspiration and deep uncertainties to our supply chains, our money. This also inspires us to see our connection to the Earth and her response to our choices.

So many of my friends and clients are experiencing a deep spiritual awakening to what is true and authentic within them. Looking at life with fresh eyes and new perspectives.

In order to do this, we can’t get lost in the noise.

Mutable signs in particular – Sagittarius, Pisces, Gemini, Virgo (in that order), this month is rough for you. Slow down.

Dec 2 Venus in Sagittarius sextile Pluto in Aquarius, explore new philosophies and adventures.

Dec 3-6 Sun in Sagittarius begins to square to the Nodes in Pisces/Virgo. Exact on the 5th. This echoes back to 19 years ago and brings a challenge to all of the mutable signs. Take the inspiration that comes and let go of trying to control the damn thing.

Dec 4 Full Moon 6:14 pm EST at 13 degrees of Gemini, as part of the giant argument in the sky referenced above. It also features the blessing of Mercury in Scorpio beginning to recreate that grand trine with Jupiter in Cancer and Saturn in Pisces that it created in late October. Release your scattered mind and lack of focus so that you can step forth into what your soul is craving.

Dec 6-7 Mercury in Scorpio grand trine to Jupiter in Cancer and Saturn in Pisces is strong for several days; lean into creativity, authenticity and spiritual connection.

Mars in Sagittarius begins to square Saturn in Pisces which can indicate hidden problems or structural defects in your plans. Slow down through the 10th.

Dec 10 Neptune station Direct at 7:21 am EST; what are the symbols for you? This is the last time it will pause and move forward in Pisces, wrapping up a 14-year cycle. Mercury in Scorpio opposes Uranus in Taurus which could bring sudden insights but also arguments, problems with technology. Venus in Sagittarius square the Nodes next three days; patience is a superpower with this aspect.

Dec 11 Mercury into Sagittarius once again as it finishes up its retrograde shadow on the 16th; it is in a trine to Neptune in Pisces which will give you the imagination to create what you started in the Fall. Mars in Sagittarius square to Neptune begins to build through the 15th, watch out for deception, exaggeration or false promises.

Dec 13 Mercury in Sagittarius sextile Pluto in Aquarius, new understandings or revelations.

Dec 14 Sun in Sagittarius begins to square Saturn in Pisces, optimism bumps up against reality.

Dec 15 Mars into Capricorn which will help to slow and steady Mar’s warrior energy.

Dec 16 Mercury exits the Rx zone at 6 degrees Sagittarius, things will begin to progress forward and new information and ideas begin to flow. Sun in Sagittarius square to Saturn in Pisces late 11:34 pm EST, so really watch the next day for your symbolic events and understandings about what isn’t in integrity and needs to be reinforced.

Dec 18 Sun in Sagittarius begins to square to Neptune in Pisces; Venus in Sagittarius begins to square to Saturn in Pisces. These are both difficult and confusing. Be wise and if you feel lost get good advice from a trusted advisor in order to move forward.

Dec 19 New Moon 8:43 pm EST at 28 Sagittarius. Conjunct Venus, square Saturn and Neptune in Pisces. Mercury in Sagittarius begins to square to the Nodes for the next several days. This is a New Moon to initiate a passion project, schedule a trip or sign up for a course. Just make sure you have high-minded motivations and flexibility as far as how your intentions unfold.

Dec 21 Venus in Sagittarius square Saturn in Pisces; troubles with love, money; you might feel your optimism getting crushed. Sun into Capricorn, Blessed Winter Solstice, at 10:03 am EST. In three days, the Sun/Son returns.

Dec 22-24 Venus in Sagittarius begins to square Neptune in Pisces; as if arguing with Saturn wasn’t enough. Don’t be deluded, daydreams can become nightmares.

Dec 24 Venus into Capricorn; the Goddess gets grounded, disciplined and more practical.

Dec 25 A somewhat somber yet emotional mood for Christmas, with a grouping of planets in Capricorn and the Moon in Pisces. Mercury is still in Sagittarius, be careful that you don’t blurt something out that you might regret.

Dec 26 Mercury in Sagittarius trine to Chiron in Aries, a broader perspective could provide insights to an emotional wound.

Dec 27 Stellium (the planets touching or conjunct) with Mars/Sun/Venus in Capricorn through the end of the month. The more disciplined and practical you are, the more you will see progress.

Dec 28 Long moon void 9:13 pm EST to 6:57 am EST on the 29th. Mars in Capricorn sextile to NN Pisces, trine SN Virgo through the end of the month which brings slow steady commitment to goals. Mercury in Sagittarius begins to square Saturn in Pisces, be careful not to make major decisions without a plan or thorough understanding.

Dec 29 Capricorn stellium of Mars/Sun/Venus tightens, Mars/Sun two degrees, positive to the Nodes. Follow your gut and do the work.

Dec 30 Mercury in Sagittarius square Saturn in Pisces can bring gloomy mood or thoughts.

Dec 31 Neptune and Saturn back into the 3-degree conjunction range in Pisces, so both difficult to the mind (Mercury) in Sagittarius. Clarity could be hard to come by; use your intuition, connect to your guides and discover creative solutions.
